Pro Bono Video Offer 2026

Pro Bono Video 2026

Free Video for Charities

Rough Cut Media is pivoting its business to have a clearer focus on working for charities and organisations with a social mission.

To celebrate we’re offering one lucky organisation the chance to get a free promotional video.

For us, this pivot is a no-brainer. We’ve worked mostly with charities or organisations with a social mission since we were founded in 2020. Our first job was for Leonard Cheshire, and since then we’ve worked for The Wales Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum, Street Football Wales and Children in Wales, amongst many others.

Before that our director Nick Skinner worked in TV documentaries working with victims of crime, asylum seekers, addicts, the homeless, sex workers and many others.

We have many years’ experience dealing with sensitive situations with integrity and compassion.

Apply Now using the form below

All you need to do is fill out a quick form before January 30 (just scroll down on this page). Tell us about the project or appeal you want to promote. We’ll aim to pick a winner by Valentin’s day.

The winner will get a day of filming alongside a full editing and planning service. We aim to create a high-quality video for your website, social media or to use at conferences and talks.

The offer is open to any registered UK charity working with people in need in the UK.

The only condition is that we expect to use your video as a testimonial. We would expect you to give us an opinion of your experiences, in writing and on camera.

The offer includes up to £50 in out-of-pocket expenses for travel, accommodation and specialist equipment. We’d expect you to contribute if the filming involved long journeys from our base near Cardiff, overnights, actors fees, or expensive extra equipment. Our time is free!
